Meet the Team

BAD CAT was founded in Sydney, Australia by a dynamic woman-and-cat team, Eve and Loki.

Eve is an engineer, designer, fashionista and martial arts enthusiast. She practices boxing and Muay Thai and holds a 1st degree black belt in Hapkido. She's also a bit of an activewear addict.

Loki is a model and influencer who has little interest in martial arts but is heavily involved in creating social content for the brand.

Our Mission

Gear that can keep up with you

Most activewear and fight gear looks good on a website but falls apart the moment you actually train in it. Waistbands roll. Leggings slide. Gloves feel bulky or stiff. Muay Thai shorts are just men’s cuts resized for women. And after a few months, everything starts to pill, sag or lose shape.

We founded BAD CAT because we refused to accept that as “normal.”

Every piece we create is a performance-first, female-first design that solves the problems other brands ignore. Our fabrics are the kind that don’t quit. They stay in place through high kicks, sprints, heavy lifts and full-contact rounds. Nothing rolls. Nothing shifts. Nothing distracts you from training like a powerhouse. Our fight gear is in a league of its own.

While competitors take men’s templates and shrink them down, we start with the female body and build upward. That means gloves that mould to your hand, shorts that move with your hips, and shin guards that sit exactly where they should without constant adjustment. The comfort and mobility difference is immediate... and once you feel it, it ruins everything else.

We do not rebrand bulk stock or cut corners. Every product is custom engineered, tested by real fighters and made in small batches so the quality stays elite. You will not find these designs, this fit, or this level of performance anywhere else.

People choose BAD CAT because it feels like wearing confidence. Once you train in something that finally fits, supports and moves the way it should, you never want to go back.

Responsibility

All of our products are designed by us in Australia and produced ethically in China and Pakistan by BSCI certified factories.

What does that mean? BSCI certification is an international standard for fair working conditions and ensures the partners we work with follow ethical practices. It means they are committed to manufacturing under responsible and humane conditions in respect of social, environmental and ethical standards.

It helps us ensure our factory partners are providing fair remuneration, decent working hours, workplace safety and health, plus the protection of workers’ rights. It also safeguards against discrimination, forced labour and child labour across the supply chain.

While this raises our production costs, we aim to keep our products affordable and accessible to everyone.
